Let’s Make a Change

Accident Survivors usually suffer physical, emotional and psychological challenges.

To tackle them, there are 3 proposed ways in which you can help affect a positive change:

Peer to Peer (Survivor to Survivor)

Being a recovering accident survivor usually means being socially isolated, with no or limited resources that can help you recover emotionally and psychologically. Family and friends are doing they best, but they will never know what it means to be and feel like an accident survivor. You can join our peer support group to become a part of bigger community of survivors and benefit from peer learning and those who already passed through their ordeal and can share invaluable resources regarding their recovery process.

Being an accident survivor who already recovered, you can become a peer supporter visiting accident survivors or inspiring them by sharing your recovery tips via our blog contribution, and also by facilitating one of our peer support meetings.

Specialist to Survivor

Being a trauma psychologist, motivational speaker, doctor, physiotherapist, masseur, sound healer or even a lawyer or entertainer, you can support our community of recovering accident survivors during one of our peer support meetings by preparing a 20-30 minutes speech or a blog post that covers topics of interest of our community. You can also become a group leader on longer run.  We meet once per month, always on the last Friday of the month from 19:00hrs-20:30hrs.

Altruist to Survivor

Being an altruist who derives intrinsic contentment from helping others, and doing good deeds, you can contribute to wellness of accident survivors and their carers by volunteering your talent and time to cook a meal, make shopping, give a lift or clean the house of those accident survivors who are still unable to do those tasks. Even if it’s one of, this will be surely appreciated by both, a survivor and their carers who also go though enormous stress and pressure of the situation.
